About Speaking
One of the multiple ways that Woolfolk Works provides college readiness information and strategies to our community is through speaking events. We hold informative and encouraging talks with students and their families in order to provide guidance for productively approaching high school and the college admissions process. We communicate to parents and guardians about how to academically challenge their children and help them become better students while maintaining their mental health. We explain the importance of families having a college prep plan for their teenagers that includes developing a clear vision and specific goals. We also inform students about how to take ownership of their educational careers and how to plan ahead to effectively take control of their own futures.
